This Saturday, May 2, we’re partying all day and into the night to celebrate YOU! (You wouldn’t miss your own party, would you?) It’s the official national holiday for books, readers, and indie bookshops, and we’re cramming the day full of fun: snacks, activities, freebies, collector’s items and exclusive merchandise, author appearances, and more. Here’s the lowdown:

Family-friendly crafts and activities for readers of all ages, all day long, plus our regularly scheduled storytime at 10:30 a.m.
Happy hour from 6-8 p.m., with drinks, readings, and general merriment. Could there be a better way to kick off Saturday night than a glass of wine in your neighborhood bookstore?
Special literary merchandise produced especially for Independent Bookstore Day and including collector’s edition items (many of them signed) from authors including Stephen King, Allie Brosh, Roxane Gay, Margaret Atwood and MORE!
